PREMIER REACH OUT- TOUCHING LIVES IS OUR PRIORITY.
Imagine several years
from now, after you have lived up to seventy, a hundred or more by the mercies
of the Lord and you are lying on that bed, having blessed your children and
children’s children waiting to be called home to rest but a few minutes before
you draw your last breathe, someone rushes in and asks you the following
questions, will you be able to answer affirmatively?

Was your life well spent?
·
Will you be remembered and if, how?
·
Have you left behind any positive
indelible mark for your generation and posterity?
The answers to these
questions do not lie in excruciating mind debates and neither are they embedded
in ferocious brain ransacks. They are interred in a simple seven letter
word-SERVICE.
Yes, service to God, our creator and service to humanity- service to the oppressed, the less privileged, the diseased, the hungry, the naked, the homeless, the crippled, the blind, the lepers, all those people who feel unwanted, unloved, uncared for throughout society. People whom are considered as a burden and therefore, shunned. This is what the holy writ mandates us to do as lovers of Christ.I find the words of the great Indian poet Tagore very insightful on this subject, he said “I slept and I dreamt and I saw that life was joy, I awoke but I realized that life was service, I served and I discovered that service was joy”
Service is indeed joy because at the end, the greatest achievement of any mortal post his earthly sojourn will not be quantified by the amount of wealth he was able to accumulate or his eminence. It will be expressed by how much he gave back- the sacrifices he made to reach out to others; in it will his honor lie.
It is the end of the year, and the usual frenzy has taken over but this year, THE INSPIRER in synergy with T-PRAISE CONCEPT, thought it fit to step outside the “me” box and go a further away from the “I” fence.
